Not Sure Why You Got A Password Change Confirmation...you should read
Did you get an email from us that said "Reset Password Confirmation" but you didn't know why?
That's a problem and it means access to your email account was either comprosmised or someone else that has access to your email, initiated the password change.
Here's how the password reset process works:
- Visit https://osmosvote.com/Signin and click the "forgot password" link
- Enter your email address and click "Reset Password" to initiate the password reset process
- Login to your email and open the email with subject of "Reset Password"
- Click the "Reset Password" button to be taken to OsmosVote.com to create a new password
- Enter a new password and enter it again to verify it's the same. Then click Submit
- All done! Unless you didn't request the change...and that's why you're here.
Because you must click the "Reset Password" button in the email to initiate the Password Change process, we can assume you had access to your email and initiated the change or someone else has access to your email and has initiated the change without your consent.
Either way, the best course of action is to consult your email provider who will most likely help you to reset your password. If there's anything we can help with, please don't hesitate to reach out.
